TIRAMISU

Jump to recipe

Tiramisu is an Italian dessert made of coffee-soaked ladyfingers that are layered with mascarpone cheese and topped with cocoa powder.

Tiramisu is easy to prepare at home and it’s great for entertaining as it is made ahead of time in order for it to set before serving. While it rests in cold temperature, the coffee-soaked ladyfingers soften into the sponge cake texture and all of the flavors incorporate together. Ladyfingers are sweet, dry biscuits that are shaped like a long finger, often used in trifles and tiramisu.

The combination of the crispy ladyfingers, the strong coffee flavor, and the tangy-but-sweet cream cheese mixture is enough to make your dessert table on the go. Plus, it serves a crowd so it’s a great dessert if you’re having friends and family over for the weekends or special occasion dinners.

The Coffee Liquor

The ladyfingers are soaked in cold-brewed coffee liquor and are layered as a base.
