Island in the Gulf of Thailand
The Blue Sea
The White Powdered Sand
The hotels and resorts in Koh Samet manage their personal beachside restaurants, which serve a variety of Thai and International cuisine. In the evening the restaurants will extend their tables onto the beach so the tourists can dine in peaceful scenic surroundings.
The Ride
Koh Samet is a fairly easy island to ride a motorcycle when compared to other islands. Rental shops are a common sight on the island, at a price of 300b for one day including free gasoline, but that is for just one hour. We also took this ride and it was an awesome experience.
The Restaurants
On our trip, we enjoyed food from these two restaurants
Tok’s Little Hut –
This restaurant offered a wide range of food, with European and Thai food to satisfy all tastes.
Pray Talay Seafood
This place had a complete scenic view. the tables were placed on the coast where we can experience the water touching our feet. It served classic seafood. The famous dish of this restaurant was a whole fried fish topped with Thai gravy and crunchy vegetables along with green mango salad.
The Night Life
“Ploy Talay”, located on Saikaew Beach, is one of the most well-known places on the island, which runs as a restaurant in the daytime, and it turns into a stage for fire shows as the evening continues. They have a very popular fire show for around 45 minutes. It’s worth watching as the show continues from the stage and ends in the sea with the dark background of the night skies.
