BEEF n OYSTER SAUCE PATTIES

The traditional puff pastry has been around for periods of time and is the base of many wonderful pastries. A variety of sweet or savory treats, breakfast to desserts can be made by using homemade or store-bought puff pastry. 

 

Puff pastry is made up of a dough prepared with flour, cool water, salt, and soft butter and a slab of butter fused in it. If baking is frequently done, then this puff pastry dough can play a great part on the table as it is incredibly light, crispy, and flaky.

 

This super easy delicious baked Beef n Oyster Sauce Pastry is wrapped in golden flaky sheets. The hardest thing about making this is not eating everything before the guests arrive.

 

They are filled with the family of bell peppers, along with beef which looks so tempting while cutting and cooking. The first time I made these, I took them out of the oven and took a few pictures before tasting and felt so proud to invent this new filling. Sure enough, these are my new favorite thing ever. 

 

These puffs pastries are super easy to make and freezer-friendly. These can be formed in a variety of ways and are perfect for appetizers and high -teas.

The puff patty dough is packed with the mixture and weaved with the desired pattern, and baked till golden brown.

BEEF n OYSTER SAUCE PATTIES

INGREDIENTS:

  • Oil 2 tbsp.
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic,  4 cloves finely chopped
  • Small cubed beef 1 lb.
  • Oyster sauce 2 tbsp.
  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp.
  • bell peppers (orange, green, red, yellow)
  • Salt to taste
  • White pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Puff pastry 4 sheets
  • Eggs 2

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan and sauté garlic then add the small cubed beef.
  • Next, add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir everything together and brown the beef.
  • Adjust the taste with salt and white pepper.
  • Add all the chopped bell peppers (orange, green, red, yellow) along with cubed onions.
  • Take the sheets of puff pastry out of the freezer and let them defrost. Take one piece of puff pastry, flatten it using a rolling pin and cut it into 4 squares.
  • Put a generous tablespoonful of the cooked mixture into one side of each square.
  • Fold it over to close it, add cuts on the spreadsheet, then roll the rest.
  • Press the edges completely shut. Crimp the edges with a fork and transfer to a baking sheet or baking tray.
  • When ready to bake, brush with egg wash and bake in a preheated oven at 400F for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
