ALFREDO GARLIC CHICKEN PIZZA

Chicken Alfredo Pizza is made with a homemade pizza crust, along with the white creamy sauce, and is topped with chicken and bacon.

 

This pizza is an alternative to the red sauce ones. It is cheesy as well as creamy and has the alfredo taste.

 

The dough is a blend of the basic pizza dough but includes extra garlic which stimulates the odor while it’s baking. The long hours of proofing bring a promising dough. Alfredo sauce itself is delicious, rich, and full of flavor.

The Marination

 The chicken is marinated with salt, pepper, chili flakes, and Worcestershire sauce.

Dough Preparation

The dough is a blend of the basic pizza dough with extra garlic.

The Toppings

The toppings include the Alfredo sauce, chicken, bacon, bell peppers, onions, and jalapeno along with shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

ALFREDO GARLIC CHICKEN PIZZA 

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

Dough ingredients:

  • Warm water 1 1/4 cups
  • Sugar 2 tsp
  • Active dry yeast 1 sachet
  • All-purpose flour 4 cups
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garlic (crushed) 3 cloves
  • Olive oil 1/3 cup

Alfredo sauce ingredients:

  • Flour 2tbsp
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Heavy whipping cream 1/3 cup
  • Butter 3tbsp 
  • Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Mozzarella cheese 2 cups
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Spinach 1 cup

Chicken marinade ingredients:

  • Chicken breast 2 ( cubed)
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Chili flakes 1/2 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp

Toppings:

  • Bacon 1 cup
  • Jalapeno 2 to 3
  • Red bell pepper 1/ cup ( julienne cut)
  • Red onion 1/2 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
  • Oregano 1/4 tsp

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  • Dough preparation:
    In a small bowl, mix warm water and sugar, yeast, and whisk until dissolved.
  • Let stand until bubbles form on the surface.
  • In a large bowl, whisk flour, salt, yeast mixture, and oil.
  • Stir until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
    Place in a large greased bowl and grease top.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place until raised double.
  • Roll the dough on a floured surface in a round shape keeping the edge 1/4 inch thick.
  • Cover it again fog proofing.
  • Prick the dough with a fork.

Alfredo sauce preparation:

  • Melt butter in a large, deep skillet over medium heat.
  • Add flour, keep stirring constantly, then add garlic and saute until flour and garlic are golden
  • While whisking slowly pour in heavy cream and milk.
  • Cook stirring constantly until mixture simmers and thickens.
  • Add in spinach, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese along with salt and pepper.

Chicken Marinade:

  • Marinade the chicken with salt, pepper, chili flakes, and Worcestershire sauce.

Assembling of the pizza:

  • Spread the Alfredo sauce on the pricked dough.
  • Add the chicken, bacon, bell peppers, onions, and jalapeno on top.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and oregano.
  • Place the pizza in a preheated ( 400F) oven for 20 minutes or until the dough get light golden and the cheese is melted.
